By Fabric Design Treasures February 01, 2023

Who doesn't remember The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham or Hop on Pop? These children's favorites were written by Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. Dr. Seuss was born on March 2, 1904 in Springfield, MA. His books are still enjoyed by young and old today, decades after his passing in 1991.

In 1998, the National Education Association wanted to encourage children to read all across the US and the Read Across America Day was born.  The day was set to to coincide with Dr. Seuss's birthday of March 2, or the school day closest to this date.

To celebrate Dr. Seuss Day, we are showing off our restocked classic Dr. Seuss-themed fabrics from Robert Kaufman.

We offer a variety of fabrics with images that will remind you of the zany stories from his classic books. These fabrics can be used for blankets, pillows, curtains, and more. Let your imagination run wild with these sweet designs.

Building your projects gives you much more control over the look, appearance, and showcases your creativity.  For example, when you want to fashion a unique baby or child gift, designing your own present will make your project stand out from all the other store-bought gifts. This makes it more memorable, appreciated and special because it was hand-crafted and created with love.
