Threads of Kindness: Supporting Inclusive Learning Through Community Partnerships
In 2025, Fabric Design Treasures partnered with École Polyvalente de L’Ancienne-Lorette to support an inclusive learning program focused on creativity, practical skills, and entrepreneurship.
Students worked on a real-world project producing reusable flannel wipes — learning sewing techniques, pricing, teamwork, and pride in their work. Fabric Design Treasures donated materials and provided guidance to help bring the project to life.
This collaboration offered more than sewing experience. It fostered confidence, independence, and meaningful participation in a student-led initiative designed to reflect sustainability, creativity, and community values.
